Mr. Trivial

No entry tonight, and that's because the World Series of Pop Culture isn't going to rock itself. A few interesting facts we uncovered in our studying last night:

  • Ernest Borgnine was on Airwolf
  • The most played song in 1986 was "That's the Way it Is" by Bruce Hornsby
  • Virtually every Canadian network has showed the Carebears at some point
  • Benson's final episode was a cliffhanger

I'd share more, but I don't want to give the enemy ammunition. To victory!

And if they ask the name of Borgnine's company on Airwolf, it is Santini Air. His niece takes it over after his murder. Or if they ask who won the great Airwolf/Redwolf battle, you better believe it was Airwolf.

The last episode of Duckman was also a cliffhanger. Those bastards! O yeah and for really good trivia fodder, I do suggest you look into the line of "Uncle John's Bathroom Readers" they are ridiculously full of trivial facts you can't find anywhere else. I'm being totally serious too.

    Try this place too: http://www.corsinet.com/trivia/
It has different categories and such so you can go through and pick out the pop culture stuff. Also, while I'm here, I thought you might find it interesting that I'm going to dinner at a restaurant named "Goulash" on Thursday. I'll take pics of the edifice and the actual dish and send them your way.

The last episode of Alf was a cliffhanger too that they never finished. I'm still waiting for it to come on.

Josh, that's actually something I read while studying and it really captured my imagination. I freaking loved that show, and even had a big Alf puppet.
